Our school is a place where learning is an enriching experience shared by students, teachers and parents, who co-operate in an active and stimulating partnership. Skills are developed which enable students to reach their full potential and provide a foundation for lifelong learning. The school adopts a broad and integrated approach to curriculum delivery in the development of skills in literacy and numeracy, with a particular focus on the use of learning technologies. Excellence and achievement are identified, promoted and celebrated.

EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO LEARN.
EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO BE SAFE AND RESPECTED.
During this term all teachers and students have been discussing what this means in their grades. They were looking at what the student and teacher needs to do to ensure this happens. There will be consequences for any student that does not follow these rules.

SCHOLASTIC BOOKCLUB:
Melton South Primary School participates in Book Club and students have the opportunity to purchase books from the catalogues that they bring home twice each term.
The school also gains credit dollars as rewards for purchases made by students and we use this money to buy books for the Library and Classroom Libraries. Last year we earned over $1000.00 and I would like to thank those parents who supported Book Club last year and look forward to your continued support and hope you enjoy sharing your new books with your children.
